Tattooed Chef. Ever hear of them? Let’s take a very brief tour.

This is a company which sells vegan food. Is your mouth watering yet? Well, I can put a stop to that with their slogan: For People Who Give a Crop.

That’s right. Of all the possible slogans they might have chosen, a food company landed on one which is a pun based on the word “crap.” Not only that, it actually takes a bit of brain processing to tease out the lame pun they are making. That is to say, if you give a crap, that means you care about the planet, so you eat food based on crops.

Get it? They even trademarked this travesty:

I’ve been spending an increasingly large amount of my time researching and exploring artificial intelligence, particularly with respect to the investing world. I stumbled upon something I didn’t know existed, which is an ETF that trades based on AI technology. Its credentials seem to be dazzling:

Below is Rackspace Technology (symbol RXT, although REKT might be better). I’ve honestly never seen anything skid like this. It’s incredible how much unapologetic garbage got pushed onto the public markets during the insane idiocy of 2020-2021. It’s down about 98%.

Good Lord. We haven’t looked at Beyond Meat (BYND) in a while, which is example 1,339 of a company that should never have gone public in the first place, were it not for the government-caused insanity of the Covid trillions flooding the capital markets. In any case, it’s down 96%, and it’s pretty clear that people would rather eat a delicious ribeye steak than they would whatever-the-hell this stuff is made of. As I’ve said many times, I live in hippy-dippy, left-leaning, tree-hugging Palo Alto, and I’ve never in my life seen anyone buy a single Beyond Meat product at the downtown Whole Foods. Not even once.
