(more…)After I dumped my GLD calls this morning, I started to wonder who my next victim would be. My eyes landed on the Metals & Mining ETF, symbol XME, whose long-term chart sports a series of lovely reversals.
As you can see in the Earnings Events data panel in SlopeCharts, there’s just one announcement this afternoon: Micron, the semiconductor maker.
I wanted to re-mention the new Volatility Matrix, not only because I haven’t seen anything like it anywhere else on the web, but also because there was a small bug yesterday (caused by the same cursed plugin that was slowing things down!) which is now resolved. Be sure to give it a look!
