I spent part of Sunday reworking and adding to the various instructional videos on the site. I would like to draw your attention to the SlopeCharts Video Tutorials page, which has been totally reworked and has some fresh videos:

I simply want to acknowledge how CryptoStream – – thanks to its spiffy new portfolio management feature – – is giving me some comfort right now, since crypto has weakened back to the levels where I sold my five positions (as a reminder, I heartily clapped myself on the back for a 25% profit which proceeded in short order to become 50%). Thus, I don’t feel like so much of a dope. I kind of miss being in position, but I simply don’t want to hang out in an environment where I think there’s going to be a meltdown. Premium members already know my disposition on the direction in the coming weeks. In any case, I urge you to check, out this new feature if you haven’t already.

Sometimes I get an idea for a feature which needs data first. You didn’t know this, but we’ve been tracking everyone’s account balance in their Virtual Trading account for many months. We are too focused on our Really Big Project right now to create these charts, but I’ve mocked up my own equity curve based on the data we’ve stored. Once we do this for real, it’s going to be super-cool! I’ve had a rough time of it lately, but by God, I’m going to conquer $10 million.

As a relative newcomer to the world of crypto, I remain flabbergasted at what a wretched experience it is for the user. The presentation of the information is straight out of a user interface guide from the year 1987. Coinbase, far and away the biggest force in the business, offers the following as its “Portfolio” (this is from my own account):
