Most tech CEOs are sociopaths, and I stumbled upon a company today called Domo which is led by one Josh James, pictured here. This is seriously what he looks like.
I never heard of this guy, or the company he founded, until I saw Business Insider run an exclusive story about how his behavior has brought a nearly $3 billion company to the brink of extinction. Evidently he was accused of sexually assaulting an employee in 2022, got kicked in, then got re-hired the next year (?!?!) and then recently got completely shit-faced and was arrested for drunk driving.
I encourage you to watch this video of the bodycam footage of his arrest (I can’t embed it, and there’s a 30 second ad at the beginning, so yeah, just tough it out because it’s worth it). It’s kind of funny since he’s trying to ingratiate himself to the police by showing the softball teams he sponsors and brags about his company (which he immediately counters by saying “this isn’t a flex”).
What a dildo. I hope his company vanishes.
