WeRide (WRD) is a Chinese firm that makes self-driving technology for cars. As you can see, it has autonomously driven its share price to lifetime lows, and frankly I wouldn’t be surprised to see this thing keep coughing its way closer to $0.

It’s been a terrific morning, and I took profits by covering such items as EWY, GDX, and XME. I went from about 150% committed to 125%. It was actually less, but I took on a substantial short position in IWM based on its big bounce. Below is the /RTY, which illustrates how the futures roared higher (inexplicably) but have begun to falter at the broken trendline.

In a rare act of propitious timing, I shorted South Korea in size for the first time in my life yesterday. Their market is limit-down, so I’d say things worked out swimmingly.
