It’s true. I pretty much listen to Alan Watts every day at this point. Rare is the opportunity to see the man, however. Almost all the stuff you’ll find on YouTube is voice recordings, many of them overlaid by stoners with the most insipid and annoying music. I avoid those. I just listen to pure Alan. Today, however, I stumbled upon this talk he gave on his houseboat, shortly before he drank himself to death (the silly sod). I love this man!

Slope is probably the most dog-crazed website around (which is no surprise, since I have three dogs myself), so I wanted to recommend a documentary I watched on Netflix last night: Pick of the Litter. I’m only glad that we didn’t film me watching it, since every twenty seconds featured me shrieking out “OH MAH GARD HE’S SO CUTE!!!!!!”. So if you’ve got Netflix, and you like dawgs, I recommend you watch it.

Another marvelous lecture from the genius Alan Watts, decades ahead of his time who, if alive, would totally understand the rise of crypto. It’s honestly jaw-dropping that decades before the present day, he was speaking of concepts we would recognize as MMT.
