Although Apple is still the tablet leader……..

Remember Spirit Airlines? If you’ve ever flown with them, as I have, you’d remember, because they suck. In any case, it’s good to see a tiny corner of the stock market which actually values a business properly (unlike, oh, say, the buyback king Apple). This company deserves its lifetime lows. Next stop: bankruptcy.

In spite of Apple’s shameless declaration it will engage in $110 billion of self-dealing by buying its own stock in the public market, that “investment” in their lame shares seems to have lost its verve, as all it accomplished was to seal a price gap. Big deal, Tim Apple. You can’t innovate your way out of a paper bag, so you have to resort to pathetic financial engineering instead.

I had never heard about the Legends Tower, but having read a bit about it, I must say something…………

In the midst of this morning’s mayhem, I glanced, as I always do, at the day’s big gainers and losers in the market overall. The most losing-est loser is a company called Sprout Social. which has been, for years, an unmitigated wipeout.
