The latest fad – – and it’s a FAD – – is quantum computing. Even on Wednesday, when equities basically all burst into flames, these suckers still went up. That’s how pathetically people want in on “the next big thing” since AI is quickly falling out of favor.

Nice to see the good guys win for a change. This is a sneak peek into 2025.

Here’s another fad I had forgotten about: companies that edit DNA so you could, I dunno, create exactly the kind of human you wanted. One of the big public companies was EDIT, and I guess maybe this was all hype and not much reality.

Well this is just plain sad. I hadn’t looked at Beyond Meat in a while, but it’s down over 99% and has a market cap of just a couple hundred million dollars. I suspect this will be delisted in 2025.
