There have been many posts on Slope about Beyond Meat (BYND) over the years, but with today’s 50% wipeout, there’s probably not going to be a company to pick on much longer. It’s down about 99.5% from its peak.

Slope initially began as a blog, so this is where most of the website’s content resides. Here we have tens of thousands of posts dating back over a decade. These are listed in reverse chronological order. I had never heard of Jerimiah Joseph Evans before, but apparently this 29 year old douchebag scammed over 500 people out of over $20 million with the he-man, alpha-male jackoff horseshit that’s so popular among nitwits these days. Here he is featured, front and center, at an event (appropriately named “Con“) in 2022. It’s a sea of hairy men, but he’s the one called The Bull (naturally, since bulls are by definition inclined toward crime, as opposed to their betters).
It only took four hours to wipe out an entire month’s worth of ill-gotten gains for the bulls. It seriously couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of folks.

Watching clips from The Big Short made me wistful for the glory days of late 2008 and early 2009. Let’s take a look at a good example from that era: AIG International.
Until the year 2000, this was one of the safest, steadiest, winningest stocks. It was pretty much the NVDA of its day.
