Let us recount the preposterous journey of AMC Cinema in a single graphic. This was, of course, the darling of the /wallstreetbets lunatics. They seriously thought it was going to $5,000 per share because they were going to defeat the big, bad hedge funds. Suffice it to say that they have failed, and that a person who acquired AMC at its public offering nine full years ago would be sitting on a 0% gain now.

Analysts get on my nerves, not only because they seem to have no idea what they are doing, but also because they are insanely well paid for it. The one I abuse the most these days (as does xTrends) is Marko Kolanovic, JP Morgan’s shill.

He has spent the entirety of 2022 talking about how the market is oversold and how it’s time to BTFD. He hasn’t been right even ONCE. He’s constantly on television talking about how the time to buy stocks is, oh, let’s say, right about NOW.

GameStoppers Chopped to Pieces

It’s pretty damned sad, really. A bunch of young people with new investing accounts made a hero out of Roaring Kitty (AK DeepFuckingValue) who stumbled onto a fortune with GameStop. They wanted to be just like him. The only difference is that he bought GME at $5 and these hapless wanna-bees bought it in the hundreds of dollars. Account by account, they’re going to get zeroed out.
