I had kind of given up on Costco (COST) as a short candidate until Xerxes mentioned it this weekend. I’ve got to say, this is looking like a pretty massive right triangle top to me! I would also remind you that this company, which is exceptionally well managed but is basically a supersized Walmart, has a P/E of almost 50.

It’s heartening to see the tech stocks crumble based on absolutely nothing, particularly since the market was rock solid green at the opening. Could we have three years just like this, every single day? It would be a welcome change.
