Schlumming It
A favorite of position right now, and one that’s managed to weather the storm, is Schlumberger (SLB) against which I own February $65 puts, presently up 54% from their purchase price. I was delighted today to see that the trendline had finally been broken.
Letting the Cat Out of the Bag
Just a brief highlight of Caterpillar (CAT) which, in my estimation, has two things going for it as a short position: (1) a well-developed top, which I’ve highlighted in pink, and whose preceding analog had good results; (2) the failure of its principal uptrend, which is a good “tell”.
AI Shorting Opportunity?
Take note how c3.ai (symbol AI) is getting quite close to its price gap. I smell blood!
Not Much Gas Left
Take a look at the price gaps I’ve tinted as well as the red arrows. I think this is a “You Are Here” kind of moments. The market is EXPLODING higher, and I’d say if this is all TSLA can manage, it’s just about out of the proverbial gas. The stop-loss is represented by the dashed horizontal line.
