As I mentioned at the start of my True Gold post on Sunday, I’ve had my fill of the whole bearish thing. My avatar is just my face, not a bear. My x.com profile doesn’t even mention or hint at anything bearish. I’m just……….Tim Knight. Nothing more.
Having said that, I have ONE and ONLY one bearish position left, and I’m going to stick with it until the bitter end: EFA. Looking at it over the past four months, it’s nothing special.
In recent days, I have been yammering on and on about Tesla’s confluence of price resistance: between the price gap, the Fibs, and the broken trendline, it was pretty much the only “Safe” short in a laughably new-highs-every-day market. It looks like a little reality is starting to crack through.
With the market reaching lifetime highs day after day, it is remarkable that Tesla (TSLA) is steadfastly obeying the power of the price gap, the Fibonacci, and the trendline. This is a powerful trio, and in the context of a mega-bull market, it is quite revealing that TSLA is acting so weakly.
Although stocks are still green across the board, it looks like today’s peak might just be the opening bell. One of my positions, for instance, the global fund EFA, isn’t up even a fifth of a single percent as I’m typing this.
Although it is evidently illegal for stocks to lose value, I still offer to you some charts which seem quite toppy. As always, clicking a chart will create a screen-filling version.
