Semiconductors again, people. Every day! You want to buy this stuff? Go right ahead! But this is a sick fever, and it’s going to end. Maybe today. Maybe tomorrow. But when the music stops, there’s going to be a rush for the exits.
Chips and Channels
AMD’s p/e ratio is 133. ARM’s is 286. There’s only so long people are going to respect the circle jerk mutually beneficial virtuous cycle among chipmakers and hyperscalers. This insanity with the semiconductor will end, and I’d like to suggest this price channel has something to do with it.
Don’t Change That Channel!
Interesting to note that the semiconductor ETF, symbol SMH, is coming right up to the upper trendline of its more than year-long channel. Just sayin’.
