Slope of Hope Blog Posts
Slope initially began as a blog, so this is where most of the website’s content resides. Here we have tens of thousands of posts dating back over a decade. These are listed in reverse chronological order. Click on any category icon below to see posts tagged with that particular subject, or click on a word in the category cloud on the right side of the screen for more specific choices.
Forbidden Terms As Of Today
Now that, thank God, the Facebook IPO is behind us, effective immediately, new Federal regulations expressly ban the following terms within the fifty United States and its territories:
+ Any ostensibly clever use of the word "Like" (e.g. "Investors 'Like' This IPO")
+ Adidas flip-flops
+ Any reference to Sean Parker
+ Any reference to the renouncement of U.S. citizenship by Eduardo Saverin
+ "Harvard dorm"
+ "Zuck"
+ "Hoodie"
Your compliance is expected.

It Just Isn’t Fair
The Twitter account below has 29 times as many followers as I do. I think my tweets are pretty good. And all this other account does is say "BONG BONG BONG" every hour (the quantity of bongs dependent upon the time of day).
Sigh.
