They’re squeezing the bejesus out of Tesla (TSLA) right now. I’m not sure if there is specific news except for Elon’s pledge to “super-size” the company. Take note that TSLA has gone up 33% in the span of a couple of weeks.

Apple is the king of kings, and host of hosts, when it comes to equities. Break this stupid thing, and the whole world falls apart. This channel is terribly important. Take careful note of the series of lower highs WITHIN the confines of the ascending channel. The notion of the market making all time highs from these levels seems, to me, unlikely. It’s all up to Apple. It is the ultimo hombre.

Let’s jump overseas and look at a few interesting outside-the-US ETF charts.
First up is the Eurozone, which is sporting a massive rounded top pattern. The monster question has to do with those two horizontal lines – – has the bounce stopped, or is it going to keep pushing to the higher line? There’s precious little activity between those two lines, so if this peculiar dose of optimism keeps flowing, we could well ascend to the next horizontal (at which time things would more than likely cease climbing).

What a weird day, huh? After the FOMC announcement, I got excited that we might actually have a big red day, but it was not to be. What I can say, however, is that looking at the equity futures, there certainly seem to be some quite a bit of important around the Fibonacci retracements, which are acting as attractants/support/resistance. Here is the weekly chart:

Last year, I was dazzled at just how many right triangle patterns existed. These are all, virtually without exception, falling to pieces, and after hours on Monday one particularly horrific outcome is Coupa Software (symbol COUP). I have no position in it (unfortunately) but add this to the stack of well-known tech stocks that have lost more than 80% of their market cap!!
