I seem to be locked in to getting up at 4 in the morning now, so might as well do a post. Let’s talk about this chart of the recent activity on the S&P 500 futures:

Even at the opening bell, when the market was raging at its strongest, I noticed that two monster stocks in which I have short positions – – John Deere (DE) and Caterpillar (CAT) – – were hardly budging. This affirms my idea that these bloated beasts have double-topped.

I’ve seriously never seen the /NQ futures look like this. It’s a perfect symmetric triangle, and it’s just kind of dying to a flat line. One thing’s for sure: next Tuesday morning is NOT going to look like this.
