Slope of Hope Blog Posts
Slope initially began as a blog, so this is where most of the website’s content resides. Here we have tens of thousands of posts dating back over a decade. These are listed in reverse chronological order. Click on any category icon below to see posts tagged with that particular subject, or click on a word in the category cloud on the right side of the screen for more specific choices.
Overflowing Kettle
As a follow-up to last week’s post on William Sonoma, what was hot has simply become hotter.

Paint the Town Green
I couldn’t help but notice that paint maker Sherwin Williams (SHW) had the same pattern that Home Depot, discussed in an earlier post today, had. Essentially it matched a prior lifetime high.

Homer High
The biggest holding of my late father’s portfolio was Home Depot (symbol HD) which matched its lifetime high today. The big box retailer is sporting a P/E of a little more than 25, and it has been one of the most successful stocks in U.S. history, having come public at a split-adjusted price of about a penny per share.

Brokers Blasting
I never thought the day would arrive in which I’d be persistently pointing to COIN and HOOD as good ideas, but here we are. I’ve mentioned both of these repeatedly here on Slope as well as on tastylive, and they just keep on keeping on, thanks, I suppose, to the growing ranks of new “traders”.
