When I was in college, the bottom-of-the-barrel last choice thing to eat, if one was absolutely desperate and had no alternative, was Domino’s Pizza. Cheap ingredients made for the worst pizza imaginable. Yet it’s clear they’ve managed to get their act together, because this stock is absolutely jaw-dropping (symbol DPZ). If you had only invested $1 billion back in 2008, you’d have one-fifth of a trillion dollars now. Loser!
