This afternoon has, in market cap terms, more earnings than any other point of the whole year. The two monsters, AMZN and AAPL, will be closely watched, but as we’ve seen with Shopify, the immediate reaction can be negative, only to be fully reversed in the day session.

Tesla has defied all the critics and is at a new lifetime high today. The P/E is nearly 500, by the way.
