I am sharing this chart of Duolingo (DUOL) not because it’s an interesting chart, but because I’m quite impressed that a relatively new company like this is actually thriving. Good on them!

While the online shopping market segment has seen a bit of normalization since the decline of the pandemic; e-commerce continues to dominate the retail market, quite literally. In fact, the pandemic years were only the beginning, as it’s looking to be yet another eventful year ahead for some of the biggest and most successful names in the business.
Don’t believe me? Well, listen to the numbers talk. Globally, there are more than 26 million e-commerce sites. In the United States, there are already more than 9.5 million e-commerce platforms, and the number is only growing.
(more…)Good morning, everyone! I’m having a grand old time, and my heart remains filled with gratitude at the Slopers who are helping me keep things sailing smoothly this week. The market day starts at 4:30 a.m. here, but that’s OK, because my brain is wired to wake up before the market opens irrespective of time zone.

I made a long suggestion on Halloween (“Dash for Cash?”) which was rather prescient.
Nice to see some long ideas work out!
