Let’s do a bit of a thought experiment, shall we?
Let’s assume that, in some form or fashion, the general “conspiracy theory” (as it were) about the stock market is correct. Let’s assume that the powers that be recognize that a persistent, widespread wealth effect is the only way to keep people calm, and keep themselves in power. Let’s further assume that, in their hearts, the instigators don’t (and can’t) really know where this is all going, but they’re hoping it will all work out. The Whirled Connection
In 1982, I wrote my first book, The World Connection, which was published by Howard Sams
Publishing in early 1983 when I was still 16 years old. (I had already been writing for national computer magazines for about a year). I would go on to write a couple dozen more books, including those listed here on the blog, but “TWC” would always have a special place in my heart, sort of like a first child.
The reason this topic came up is because my sister must have been cleaning out an old closet, and she found a copy of this book that I sent her over three decades ago. I hadn’t read the book since it came out, and I was curious to see how my writing had changed and how accurate my prophecies were. (more…)

Gold Seekers and Gold Diggers

Over the course of any week, I read a lot of articles. Sometimes unrelated stories form connections in my head. Such a connection was made recently between two unrelated items: Elliott Rodger (the Isla Vista killer, who murdered six people and himself) and Wendi Deng, the soon-to-be-ex-wife (his third) of Rupert Murdoch.
