Small-Cap Gap Fill?
By the time you read this, it may be irrelevant, but it looks like the IWM has executed a gap-fill this morning. For me, it was another eye-rolling experience: a glorious early-morning profit, chipped away quickly by the insufferable BTFD crowd. This kind of thing is bad for the soul. I'm more than a little sick of it.

In honor of The Hun's postulate that emerging markets were the buy of a lifetime, I offer you my latest short idea – EEM – which I've shorted at 43.87. I've placed a stop at 44.25, just above the prior gap.

Next Target for the Russell 2000
Well, it looks like a rock-solid trend day for the bulls. The gap-fill ahead on the Russell seems like a logical next step, if we keep seeing anything like this strength.
Watch This Gap Closely!
Personally, I think it's a pretty good "tell" if there's a sustained rally ahead (gap closure and continuance) or this is just a bull trap.
