As I was glancing at posts this morning, I stumbled across this comment over on ZH:

It occurred to me that instead of taking this oh-so-specific anecdote as Gospel, I actually might want to use our own Time Perspective in SlopeCharts to check it out. So here’s what I found:
(more…)Blind Squirrel, a well-known Sloper, drew my attention to a study suggesting that there was about a one-month spread between the percentage of stocks being above their 50-day moving average indicator (a figure we have in SlopeCharts) and a major NASDAQ reversal. I took a look, and sure enough, it looked that way.
A couple of days ago we announced the Slope Super Stock Summary page, and it was very well-received. We have polished the page up a bit. For one thing, a Sloper asked for us to compute the “days to cover“, so that is now included:

Most of you are acquainted with the Woulda Shoulda Coulda page, which I think is totally unique to Slope. It lets you psychologically torture yourself with what stuff would be worth if you bought it at a certain point in the past. We have improved this page so that now it shows sum totals……..
