Check out the ancient supercontinent of Pangea, represented with current political borders. One could easily travel on foot from New York City to Morocco. Think of how much we’d save on plane fares!

It’s funny how one gets used to seeing a given franchise so often they figure it’s national. In California, for instance, In-N-Out Burgers are everywhere, but in most of the U.S., no one would have ever heard of it.

I offer yet another example of how computers aren’t as scary as we’re being told they are.
I was typing an email to a Sloper, and I messed up a word:

Now you, dear reader, certainly recognize what the word was supposed to have been. Not only is it easy to tell based on what often-used word should be there, but in the context of the sentence, you know what it should be.
The all-powerful software, however? Let’s take a look.
